Angle converter: degrees, radians, gradians
Convert an angle between degrees, radians, gradians (gon) and degrees-minutes-seconds (DMS). Type a value in any field and the others update automatically.
Degrees, minutes, seconds (° ′ ″)
Quick reference
- A full turn is 360°, i.e. 2π radians (≈ 6.2832) or 400 gradians.
- The gradian (gon) divides the quarter circle into 100 parts: 90° = 100 gon. It is mainly used in surveying.
- The radian is the SI unit; 1 rad ≈ 57.2958°.
- In DMS, 1° = 60 arcminutes (′) and 1′ = 60 arcseconds (″). Example: 12.5° = 12° 30′ 0″.
